FEB 18th 2010

Well I hope everyone had a good Valentines day. I did. Steve and I went to P.F. Changs for dinner.. But to the purpose of this blog. I have been working out atleast 5 days a week at the gym. Today I went to the gym in the morning and tonight after dinner we went for a bike ride. I will be going to the gym in the morning again. Have a hard timne going on the weekends since the child care isn't open then.
I still need to work on eating better. But I have been eating less. Its still a working progress. Benn losing about a pound a week. Down 7.8 pounds in the last 6 weeks. Its not to bad. Could be more. Just wish I had someone here to work out with, help to keep me motivated.

feb 3rd 2010

well I finally got my membership to a gym. So today I started working out there today. I'm not looking forward to the morning's weigh in. I have not been eating that good this week, but I have worked out almost everyday. Hopefully I'm down atleast a pound. We shall see.
I really need to get back to eating better. I have just been feeling lazy. I need to get my ass in gear. Well now with the membership I can get more of a work out in now.
Ok so starting tomorrow am getting back in the swing of things..

So I have noticed I'm getting back into my lazy ways. I need to get out of this funk. I have been eating more and I didn't work out today. But I did come to a conclusion about 1 think. I'm a stress eating. I eat when I'm stressed, or upset or just not happy. So I need to find ways to keep busy, but with the snow its kinda hard. I am thinking about taking up a spinning class. Come tomorrow or Tuesday I'm going to be getting a membership at the rec center so I will have access to a gym and work out classes. So here is to get getting back on that ball and kissing this fat good by..

So I know I haven't been keeping up on my blog. There has just been alot going on.. But I still have been working out and eating better.. Still could eat better but its a working process. I will get back on the ball with my blog, hopefully :)

jan 18th 2010

Oh what a busy weekend. I posted for Saturday already. But Sunday we went out to breakfast. That kept me full pretty much the whole day. Then later in the afternoon we had a family gathering to go to. Spent a few hours there. All in all it was a great weekend.

Now on to today. Well this morning I decided to drink coffee and that just makes me wired. But I did get alot done. This morning I did a 10 min cardio sculpt. I felt pretty good after that. Then I did a 20 min yoga. I think I'm starting to like doing yoga, very relaxing. Then after all that, well a few hours later, the kids I went for a bike ride. We did 1.6 miles total. Sam rode her bike ad I pulled Austin behind me. Going to be doing that more often. All in all it was a great work out day for me.

For breakfast I had a few cups of coffee with non dairy creamer and sugar. Lunch I had grilled salmon sushi roll. Dinner I made shrimp Alfredo with garlic bread.

Jan 16th 2010

Oh what a busy day. This morning Sam had ballet. Well was suppose to, it was canceled due to the instructor being sick. But I get the call after I get everyone ready to go. So I worked out instead. Steve joined in as well as the kids too. Then we got ready to take the kids to the sitter and went to a car show (Daryl Starbird). We were there walking around for about 3 hours. There sure were alot of nice cars there.
So for the workout I (we ) did was the 2 biggest loser DVDs I have, cardio max and power sculpt. We did both on level 2. I was able to keep up a little better than last time, I can breath finally lol. But it still felt great. I guess you can say I got in a little work out with all the walking we did at the car show.
For meal wise. I kinda missed breakfast, got caught up in getting the kids ready and working out. Lunch I had a healthy choice frozen meal, shrimp (um I forget that the flavor was I just remember it was shrimp) it can with broccoli, carrots and a little dessert. Dinner we ate at the car show, I just had a cheeseburger with mustard and a small fries. It didn't feel that great once it hit my stomach, but I was hungry and I didn't have a big selection to choose from. Steve and I shared a medium soda. I had a special K snack bar the chocolate drizzle, just a few mins ago.
I am going to start keeping track of the calories I eat. Going to try to reduce it and hope doing that with exercise will help get the weight off. Breakfast and lunch are easy to do, but dinners i seem to have a harder time figuring out how many calories I do consume. Guess I will be looking online for something I can use to help calculate the calories.

Jan 14th 2010

So I didn't post yesterday. There was just alog going on and I kinda just didn't do it. Thinks have been pretty crazy around here.
Last night dinner we had turkey hot dogs with vegitarien chili, seasoned fries and steamed broccoli. Both my kids devoured the hot dogs and I can never get my daughter to eat hot dogs. I did work out yesterday too, just can't remember what I did in the morning. But last night Steve and I did yoga. It felt good afterwards. Some postitons are hard, but it was easy.
So on to today. This morning I went on a 1 mile power walk/ jog. I stopped at the play ground towards the end to let the kids play for a few, while there I did some streching. It was getting out side, even thought it was in the 30's. Steve and I did yoga again tonight. Was a little easier tonight. Wedecided to do it every night as a way to wind the day down. I like it when steve is there to work out with me , makes it a little more enjoyable.
Food wise today. This morning I had a half a onion bagel with fat free cream cheese with 2 eggs (one was just the egg whites). Lunch I did one of those healthy choice fresh mixers, tuscun chicken. Dinner I made chicken parmesan mini subs with a ceaser salad with no crutons (mainly because I didn't have any).
All in all I have been feeling pretty good. Well minus the stuffy nose. I'm hoping for a good night sleep. Have a busy morning.

Jan 12 2010

I have to say today was a better day. I felt great. My husband was home and it was just a nice day. Even though I didn't sleep that well. Nose is still stuffed. My son was up at yet again 7:30. I'm getting used to it now. No matter that I do I can't go back to sleep. I don't get a chance to try very often either.
So this morning I made breakfast burritos. I used bacon, eggs and potato's. The eggs over half that I used I used just the whites. Surprisingly it was good. I only had one and it was stuffed. I did put a little cheese on it, but whats a burrito without cheese :). Lunch I had some sushi, tuna. Dinner I made some fish taco salad. I used tilapia. I grilled the fish. It had lettuce, corn, beans, salsa, guacamole, tomato's, onion, jalapenos, Cheddar cheese, and reduce fat sour cream. It was so good.
Since my husband was home today we worked out together. We did the Biggest loser DVDs. But we also did them at level 2. The cardio one kicked my butt. I hated the fact that it did. But I'm going to beat it. I will beat it. It was nice having company while working out. I'm a competitive person, so it made me work harder to do better. I don't know why I was like that, after all it was just my husband. But it made it fun. Going to start challenging myself more.. Going to watch the Biggest loser episode from tonight tomorrow and try to get idea's that i can do with out having to use DVDs or machines.
Here's to the challenge. I'm coming to get you fat and I'm going to kick you out of me. Be gone fat BE GONE

jan 11th 2010

Well today I declaired it a lazy down in my house. Iwoke up this morning not feeling well. My nose was stuffed and my head was hurting. I think it might be a sinus infection.
I never did get a work out in today, on the fact I couldn't breathe. I'm allowing my self 1 day a week to not work out. So today was that day.
Even though I didnt work out, I still ate really good. I missed breakfast this morning (couldn't taste anything). Lunch I had a healthy choice fresh mixer, the ziti and meat sauce. It tasted pretty good. Dinner we went out to Applebee's. I had a cajian lime tilapia. It was yumm-o. It was only 7 Weight Watcher points. I'm not doing WW but it was still healthy.
I really don'[t have much else to say. But back to working out tomorrow morning.

jan 10th 2010

Over all today was a OK day. I spent probably half the day with a headache. I been having them for a few weeks now. Its always in the same spot, they go as fast as they set on. I do go to the doctor Friday for my next birth control shot, so I will mention it then.
I did the biggest loser sculpt and cardio DVDs today. Both were done on the maximum results week 1-2. I felt great after wards. I actually had energy today and got some stuff done. Been kinda sluggish these last few days. Other than my headache I felt pretty good today.
For breakfast I had half a onion bagel with cream cheese. Lunch was a healthy choice frozen meal (I can't remember what flavor it was, but it was yummy). Dinner was a left over night. So i heated up left over spaghetti. I had one serving, probably about 2 cups worth, and a slice of butter bread. I did have a piece of brownie for dessert. But it was a small slice.
Well I'm off to bed, head is pounding.

jan 9th 2010

When I got up this morning and I had goals to get things done. Well I got my work out in and took my daughter to ballet and that's it.. Just didn't have the energy to do anything. But at least I got the work out in.
As for my work out this morning. I didn't do much but what I did do felt great. I did the biggest loser sculpt level 2 along with the warm up and cool down. Even Steve and my kids were working out. It was nice having company :)
I started out eating great today. I didn't eat breakfast. Kinda didn't have the time. But for lunch I had a Healthy Choice Steamer, sweet BBQ chicken and rice. It didn't taste the greatest, it did its job. For dinner I baked come chicken in a baja marinade, it was AWESOME, along with potatoes and green beans.. I did a no no and had dessert with a brownie and a little ice cream. Kinda wish I skipped dessert, I feel kind ugh now. I feels like a waste of a work out this morning. I will just have to work harder in the morning..
I hoping here soon to start going to the gym. Feel I will get a better of a work out and results if I did. Or even maybe get some equipment at home. Only time will tell. I just need to get my butt into a faster gear...

Jan. 8th 2010

Do you ever have one of those day's were you know its not going to be a good day. Well when I woke up this morning I just knew. But I'm just glad that as soon as I'm doing writing this I'm going to bed. My daughter Samantha start ballet in the morning :)
OK so to the point of this blog. Over all the losing weight part wasn't so bad today. I did 2 different workout this morning. Both different from each other. The first one i did was a 30 day shred by Julian Michael's. I got a pretty good work out from that one. Felt it the most in my legs and shoulders. The other one I did was the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders boot camp. That one worked alot of muscles I haven't used in the other video's I've done. That one worked on the inner thighs and the butt. Doing both together I felt pretty good afterwards.
For breakfast this morning I had a banana and a DanActive immunity yogurt. Lunch was just a chicken salad sandwich wit mustard, tomato and onion. Dinner I made chili and corn bread. I only had about a cup worth of chili. Even with eating that little for dinner I felt so full. It was like I ate the whole pot. My stomach was hurting, it felt so full. I still feel full even though I ate dinner 4 and 1/2 hours ago. Hope tomorrow I feel better.

Jan. 7th 2010

Well today I started a blog about my journey to losing weight. I'll be posting what I ate, how I felt and my weight, what work outs i did that day, weigh myself weekly, and I will post any good healthy recipes I do happen to find.
The weight is the hard part. Its hard for me to omit on how much I do weight. So today I weighed 260.4 this morning. Its hard for me to believe that number is truly me. I honestly do not feel i weigh that much. But when I look in the mirror I realize I am that big. So I really don't look at myself in a few mirror very often.
So this morning I did 2 different work outs. Both were on OnDemand. One was Holly's Workout (19 minutes) and Kendra's Shape Up (12 minutes). I didn't find them to interesting. Little boring I thought. So tomorrow I will try another one.
As for what I had to eat ad drink today. I had a lot of water and 3 cups of coffee with non dairy creamer and a spoonful of sugar. I missed breakfast this morning (yes I know I wasn't suppose to, but I just wasn't hungry). For lunch I had a salad with tomatoes, onion, cheddar cheese and vadalia onion vinaigrette; along with a turkey sandwich with a little mayo, tomato and onion. Dinner, well didn't go so lite, I made cheese burgers with the onion mix, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard and a slice of provolone cheese, a handful of seasoned fires (baked) and green beans.
All in all today was a pretty good day. Just ready to finally get this weight off of me. I have 2 young kids to take care of. I need to be able to keep up with them. So far its been easy but they are 4 and 2 and they are moving fast.
I'M NOT ON A DIET, ITS A LIFESTYLE CHANGE
